Modern Icons
To celebrate the launch of issue #7 we have commissioned a series of illustrated Modern Icons created by Lauren Tamaki. Each of the women selected have pushed boundaries or challenged expectations in their lives and careers.
The women in the series include, Bjork, the Broad City girls, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Joan Didion, Laverne Cox, Malala, Michelle Obama, Rei Kawakubo, Serena Williams, Shami Chakrabarti, Tilda Swinton and Yayoi Kusama.
The full series will be on display from 9 January - 13 Februaryin the Ace Hotel window box gallery facing Shoreditch High Street.
We're also giving away limited edition Modern Icon postcards with all online orders of issue #7.

At the launch event on Thursday 12th January, Riposte will host a prize draw raffle with all proceeds going to the Syrian Refugee Fund. Prizes have been generously donated by brands such as Aesop, WAH, Mast Brothers, Ace Hotel, Fourth Estates and many others.
