Burning House Open Book Club
Black Wave by LA based writer, Michelle Tea is a part memoir, part fiction, grungy and queer tale of a young-ish bummed out writer in a pre-apocalyptic, nineties San Francisco who makes her way to LA to ride out the imminent end of the world. It's a spun-out, dark, delirious and eerily realistic portrayal of the end of times.
It’s free to join, you don’t have to have read Black Wave as we’ll discussing wider themes throughout but if you’d like to read it before the session you can order it here.
Free but RSVP essential, book your place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Complimentary mulled wine and minced pies will be served throughout
