To celebrate International Women’s Day last week we brought together some of our favourite women and joined forces with adidas Originals to host a very special #TLKS panel discussion which explored identity, the power of music, creativity and community.
The event celebrated the launch of the new collaboration between adidas Original and Naked – a killer female focussed sneaker store based in Copenhagen. The new collection represents a canvas for self-expression and celebrates individuality so to reflect this we headed to Copenhagen to host a brilliant panel featuring innovative creatives who challenge the status quo and push boundaries in their work. The line up included rapper Princess Nokia, photographer Vicky Grout, poet and musician James Massiah and creative lead at Naked Voni Robi.
The panel shared personal insights and wisdom covering topics around the influences on their own identity, the impact of music and fashion, representation in the media and how brands like adidas and stores like Naked are helping women express themselves through their own streetwear style.
You can watch the full talk below and check back over this week for more in-depth interviews with the panellists. You can also check out the full collection here.
